CAIRO - 3 September 2022: Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that the epidemiological curve of cases of Corona virus infections indicates a decrease in the number of cases reaching 55 percent. Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar revealed that the number of citizens targeted to receive the vaccination has reached 50 million citizens, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar added that 100 percent of the population targeted to be vaccinate have already received the first dose. The second dose was received by 78.41 percent of the target, while the third stimulating dose targeted about 25 million citizens of priority groups, of whom about 8.098 million citizens received the dose, or 32.3 percent. Hossam Hosni, Chairman of the Scientific Committee to Combat the Corona Virus, stressed that preventive measures are important to prevent the Corona virus and its recent spread, so we must be as careful as possible in order to cross this stage.
