The center is aligned with the presidential initiative dubbed "Survival Ships" aimed at combating illegal immigration within Egypt's 2030 Vision for Sustainable Development. The center will offer a list of vacancies available in Germany, particularly to the dwellers of governorates that produce the largest numbers of illegal migrants. After deportation, former Egyptian illegal migrants will be reintegrated in their homeland through the center by offering vocational training and employment services. The German ambassador asserted that the center aims for reducing illegal migration from Egypt, and raising awareness on legal migration. Egyptian illegal migrants used to be from Fayoum, Sharqeya, Daqahleya, Menoufeya, Beheira, Gharbeya, Kafr El Sheikh, Luxor, and Menya.
