Egyptian woman Eman Ahmed, once the world’s heaviest woman, will be discharged from Mumbai’s Saifee Hospital at 10.30am tomorrow, officials said. “Eman is stable, in good health and fit to fly,” said an e-mail sent by VPS Burjeel Hospital, where Eman will be treated, to the COO of Saifee Hospital, Huzefa Shehabi. Eman will be transferred from Saifee Hospital tomorrow morning at 10.30am,” said Dr Muffazal Lakdawala, bariatric surgery and Eman’s treating doctor at Saifee Hospital. In the meanwhile, sources from MIAL said a specially-equipped ambulance will transport Eman to the airport from Saifee Hospital. Eman will remain on a high-protein liquid diet en route and will be weighed again at Burjeel Hospital before treatment.
