EgyptAir has unveiled its new plan for 2026, which includes expanding its network and opening new direct international routes. EgyptAir is working to add several new international routes, leveraging the modernization of its fleet with modern, long-range aircraft. Among the most prominent routes expected to launch is direct flights between Cairo and the US. EgyptAir is preparing to launch the Cairo-Los Angeles route starting in May 2026, making it one of the longest direct routes in the company’s history. Regionally, EgyptAir has already begun operating the Alexandria-Benghazi route since December 2025 with two weekly flights, supporting travel between Egypt and Libya and facilitating travel for passengers and businesspeople.
