Weather maps warn of dense morning mist (fog) between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM across Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and Northern Upper Egypt, significantly reducing visibility on highways. Forecasts also indicate light-to-moderate rain, with occasional thunderstorms, over Northern Upper Egypt, the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba, and the Northern Red Sea Governorate. Additionally, wind activity is anticipated along the North Coast, while sand and dust storms in Southern Upper Egypt and the Southern Red Sea Governorate may further reduce horizontal visibility.
