Egypt sends 30 tons of medical aid to coronavirus stricken India

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has ordered that 30 tons of medical aid supplies be dispatched to India to help it combat its coronavirus outbreak, Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed said. Egypt has previously sent aid to other countries to help them in their fight against coronavirus. Meanwhile, in April, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi ordered medical aid, including medicine and protective clothing, to be delivered to the US. In March and April 2020, the Egyptian government also sent two separate shipments carrying medical supplies to Italy. Amin said that the medical team proved that Egypt was a refuge for all, regardless of nationality.
