Investors and stakeholders in yacht tourism and marina construction, investors in coastal villages and tourist destinations along the Mediterranean and Red Seas, the Gulf of Suez, and Aqaba are expected to attend the event. The conference is in line with the country’s ambition to be a premier yacht tourism destination. Also in July 2023, the country extended the visas granted to foreign yacht tourists to three months instead of one. Egypt’s geographical location makes it an ideal country for attracting yacht tourism. Yachting enthusiasts now reportedly have the freedom to choose their docking location based on announced prices, provided services, and the desired tourist itinerary.
