Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision on Thursday to limit the price of products necessary for preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. He also demanded that all shops and pharmacies advertise the prices and make them visible to customers. Hand sanitizer will range in price depending on the volume purchased, with a 30 ml bottle selling for LE10 and a liter selling for LE100. The decision also prohibits shops and pharmacies from hiding products or refusing to sell them. Those violating the law will be fined between LE100,000 and two million pounds, or the value of the products.
