From 30 July to 3 August, the conference takes place in Luxor, according to a statement published on the Supreme Council of Culture’s official Facebook page. The conference aims to re-empower the youth’s enhancements in all cultural fields and rebuild the lost connections between the country’s two dominating generations. Regaining youth’s powers and implementing them into fixing the current cultural crisis taking over the Egyptian society is the one main goal. “Egypt is currently witnessing a clear, noticeable deterioration in its cultural effectiveness on both regional and international sides,” the statement added. The conference also contains an entertaining programme for the participants with several activities, including visits to historical destinations and Nile tours.
