Take precautions as temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3 degrees next week, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA). Greater Cairo is currently sizzling at 38 degrees, but brace yourself for 40 degrees by next Monday. In Northern Upper Egypt, including Beni Suef and Fayoum, temperatures will hover around 41 degrees during the day all week. Here are the average temperatures expected for different regions in Egypt next week until Wednesday, according to the EMA's forecast:- Cairo and Lower Egypt – Highs: 39, Lows: 27- North Coast – Highs: 33, Lows: 24- South Sinai – Highs: 42, Lows: 31- Northern Upper Egypt – Highs: 41, Lows: 26- Southern Upper Egypt – Highs: 45, Lows: 30
