Take precautions as temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3 degrees next week, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA). Greater Cairo is currently sizzling at 38 degrees, but brace yourself for 40 degrees by next Monday. In Northern Upper Egypt, including Beni Suef and Fayoum, temperatures will hover around 41 degrees during the day all week.
