Egypt on Tuesday confirmed 160 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s number of confirmed total cases so far to 2,350. The total number of COVID-19 deaths has now reached a hundred and seventy-eight nationwide, after announcing fourteen deaths today. A total of 683 positive cases have been tested in Egypt, with all results now returned negative. Flights will be also suspended during this period, as will cultural activities, traffic department services, and work at notary offices. Journalists and media workers, doctors, healthcare and emergency services workers are exempt from the curfew.
