Wednesday’s celebration of the 98th anniversary of the discovery King Tutankhamun’s tomb includes ticket discounts to the king’s tomb for Egyptians and foreigners, as well as events across Luxor. Celebrations for the anniversary of the tomb’s discovery will take place all day across the governorate. Among the festivities planned are the inauguration of several new archaeological projects, art exhibitions, and folkloric performances across Luxor’s various archaeological and historical monuments.
