China continued to top the world's countries for rates of spending on international tourism with an increase of 12 percent over the past year. China was followed by the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and France as the top five countries spending in foreign tourism, according to the latest reports by the World Tourism Organization. Egyptians achieved an increase in spending on foreign tourism by up to 19 percent being on the list of the top 50 countries spending on foreign tourism. The 2016 results on spending from major overseas markets reflect an increase in demand for international tourism worldwide, according to the World Tourism Organization's latest World Tourism Barometer. Recent data on overseas tourism spending are very encouraging, despite the many challenges in recent years.
