The government of Egypt has secured a loan from the Islamic Development Bank towards the cost of the power project, which will consist of one steam generator and one 650MW steam turbine. A portion of the loan has been earmarked for payments under the contract for the supply of the power transformers. UEEPC tender informationThe Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company (UEEPC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), now invites international bidders to submit tenders for the power transformer package.
