The joint Egyptian-Emirati military exercise “Zayed Three” kicked off on Friday in the United Arab Emirates, running for two weeks and featuring the participation of special forces from both countries. The exercise includes many activities, such as the exchange of training experiences between both sides and training on managing joint combat work between participating elements. This training drill comes as part of the Egyptian armed forces’ desire to strengthen military cooperation with friendly nations, find the most appropriate solutions against enemy forces, impose emergency drills and further coordination between the Egyptian and Emirati armed forces to meet the challenges facing the region. Military cooperation between the UAE and Egypt is built on a long history of shared expertise and advanced capabilities. The UAE and Egyptian armed forces enjoy high capabilities and rich capabilities to meet the various challenges to the region’s security.
