Egypt’s U-20 national team are still hopeful they can play in the North African Championship, despite finding 17 coronavirus cases within the squad. However, before their opener against Lybia 17 cases of COIVD-19 were found among the Egypt squad. “The technical staff decided to summon two players from Cairo, and they are expected to arrive in Tunisia tomorrow. We hope that two or three players will recover after the new swab test today ahead of the second game against Tunisia on Friday. Egypt now sit bottom of the group, as their game was counted as a 3-0 loss, while Tunisia and Algeria sit second and third respectively with equal points after their 1-1 draw.
