Egypt has taken steps toward strengthening its fertilizer and chemicals sector as the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) signed an agreement with Indorama Egypt Fertilizers to establish a new phosphate fertilizer plant in the Sokhna Industrial Zone.
