CAIRO – 29 August 2022: Minister of Electricity and Renewable Resources Mohamed Shaker met Monday with Djibouti Energy Minister Yonis Ali Guedi to hold talks on potential partnerships in the sector. Guelleh described in the joint press conference with Sisi in Cairo that as "fruitful and constructive." The Djibouti president also reiterated that the two sides are keen on continuing their consultations and cooperation regarding a number of regional and international issues of common interest. Egypt’s President Sisi said that the bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Djibouti witnessed ‘important qualitative’ steps in all fields during the past period. Sisi added that he agreed with President Guelleh on increasing mutual investments between both countries and supporting the economic development efforts in Djibouti.
