CAIRO—At least 14 people were injured Sunday in an explosion targeting a sightseeing bus near Egypt’s famed pyramids, according to state-owned media, in an attack on the country’s most important tourist sites. A device exploded near the bus, carrying 25 tourists from South Africa, shattering its windows, state-owned Al-Ahram newspaper reported, citing a security source. The blast also hit a nearby car, injuring four Egyptians, it noted.
