The Egyptian army Thursday indicated that strikes conducted by military aircrafts in the Sinai have killed several militants of the Islamic State group (IS) including three prominent members of the terror group which has been inflicting losses to the army. A total of 19 militants of the terror group were killed in the airstrikes. Early this month the army also announced the death of a senior member of the terrorist group reportedly killed in March, in army airstrikes.
