We have to read the (Quranic) verse in full, said Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, Al-Azhar’s Grand Imam. Al-Azhar sought on Saturday to clarify the comments, saying that al-Tayeb wasn’t calling for a ban on polygamy.
