The Egyptian Railway Authority has announced its ticket prices for overnight sleeper trains, which have the highest prices among all railway categories. On trains 82/83 and 84/85, the single cabin is priced at LE700 and the double cabin LE450. Ticket prices from Cairo to Sohag, Nag Hammadi and Qena or vice versa on trains 86/87 are LE575 for the single cabin, and LE350 for the double cabin. Prices then decrease for trains 86/87 from Cairo to Assiut or vice versa as the single cabin ticket is priced at LE540 and the double cabin at LE310. On trains 82/83 and 84/85, the single cabin ticket is priced LE600 and the double cabin LE340.
