The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population has declared a state of maximum preparedness across all hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide. This proactive measure follows urgent warnings from the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) regarding significant weather instability expected to impact the country on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25-26. Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has directed all medical institutions to raise their readiness levels, specifically focusing on emergency departments, intensive care units, and trauma centers. In addition to emergency medical response, the Ministry is intensifying its preventative health measures. The Ministry urges all citizens to exercise extreme caution, avoid areas prone to water accumulation or flooding, and strictly follow official safety guidelines.
