KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry is still waiting for the final report on the recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC). Its minister Dr Maszlee Malik said the Unified Examination Certificate Task Force (PPDUEC) is in the midst of finalising the report. It was reported that PPDUEC was supposed to submit its final report on its findings on UEC recognition to the Education Ministry last month. Maszlee said the task force has completed their engagement with various stakeholders and is wrapping up their findings. The UEC is the unified examination for Independent Chinese Secondary Schools which does not follow the national education system.
