Edmonton police want to talk with a motorcycle rider who was almost hit by a pickup truck early Saturday. At around 12:40 a.m., police noticed a red Ford pickup truck following closely behind a motorcycle, as they both travelled eastbound on 106th Avenue near 142nd Street. When the truck and motorcycle approached a stop sign at 132nd Street, police say the truck swerved and attempted to hit the motorcycle. "What the investigating officers believe is that this motorcycle was trying to get away from the pickup truck. The investigating officer said it was very surprising to see the pickup truck's actions with police so close in that area," Batchelor said.
