A woman is dead after she was hit by a vehicle in northeast Edmonton Saturday night. The unidentified woman, who police said is aged somewhere between her 20s and 40s, was hit at the intersection of 137th Avenue and 40th Street just after 7:30 p.m. Sections of the road are blocked off as police continue to investigate. Edmonton police said the vehicle that hit the pedestrian fled by the time they arrived. EPS continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 780-423-4567.
