It’s hard work to get to the net against a Hitchcock team. While it wasn’t solely his fault, the timing is right for a coaching change. but both Doug Armstrong and Peter Chiarelli haven’t done enough to reasonably be allowed to keep their jobs… It really feels like repainting the walls of a house that’s in the process of falling into a sinkhole. He also did the only thing that could be done to change direction right now. The only thing that might realistically impact that in any major way was a coaching change, given how difficult it is to make in-season trades.
