Thick smoke was seen billowing from flames on the Pentland Hills at around 5.45pm on Saturday. Footage filmed from Dalmahoy Road shows the flames on the side of one of the hills, while an excess of smoke moves east on March 21. ‌Krisztian Koczo, who filmed the smoke, told us: "I was heading from Ratho on Dalmahoy Road when I saw a blaze on the Pentland Hills." ‌In February, a blaze broke out on the Pentland Hills which was deemed 'too unsafe' for the SFRS to tackle.
