Anti-abortion students marked both Edinburgh and Stirling as “fails” in a survey because their students’ unions refused to give the societies support. The document, called Free2Speak, gave marks based on policies towards students, societies and outside speakers that oppose abortion, as well as the experiences of students. The only university to receive a “first-class degree” in the report was the University of St Andrews.
