★★★★☆This new play, set somewhere in Scotland today, revolves around three couples and, at first, it all feels rather random. There is an old couple, ancient actually, all bundled up, sitting in their chairs, living in the past, terrified of the present. There is a young couple, she in the last days of pregnancy, full of dreams for the new baby. There are two teenagers, Steph and Ash, who are hilarious as they plot their pie-in-the-sky futures. And we’ll adopt, little black baby, little African.
