DEVELOPMENTS OF THE DAY: Chief Minister E Palaniswami won the trust vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly following scenes of ruckus and violence in the House by DMK leaders. Earlier, the Panneerselvam camp had demanded a secret ballot while DMK demanded postponement of the trust vote. By creating mayhem in the House, DMK had apparently planned to stop the trust motion from taking place.
