Assange is granted conditional bail at the High Court in London after his supporters pay £240,000 in cash and sureties. 2012June: Assange enters the Ecuadorian embassy in London requesting political asylum. November: Assange is questioned over the sex allegation at the Ecuadorian Embassy in the presence of Sweden's assistant prosecutor Ingrid Isgren and police inspector Cecilia Redell.
