THE Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 16 presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubaka, has reiterated his conviction in the supremacy of a private sector ability in creating jobs and growing the economy. This he said he would achieve by lowering corporate taxes, improving power supply, providing security and generally increasing the ease of doing business. “We are also going to reduce corporate tax because when you do that, you give incentive to investors to come in and invest and when they invest, they create jobs and when those jobs are created, the people who get employed also pay taxes. “One of our major plans is to create jobs and the greatest job creation sector in this country is agriculture. We did not include the clause to penalise any level of government if they fail to implement free education.
