EcoWaste Coalition has also sought a ban on plastic microbeads in rinse-off personal care products that accumulate in the marine ecosystems and are mistaken for food by fish and birds,” he added. As September 1 to October 4 is also observed as the “Season of Creation,” the EcoWaste Coalition invited the Catholic faithful to support efforts to “green” the Church and its religious festivities.
