Ecological campaigners have vowed to keep fighting a rare legal battle with the City regulator over the listing of North Sea oil firm Ithaca Energy. ClientEarth alleged Ithaca's listing papers failed to adequately outline the risks to the company – one of the North Sea's largest fossil fuel producers – from climate change. 'In the case of Ithaca's listing, we believe the regulator has failed by ultimately waving through Ithaca's prospectus even though legal requirements have not been met.' Its lawyers said ClientEarth was not 'directly affected by the decision to approve Ithaca's prospectus'. A ClientEarth spokesman said: 'We are disappointed but will apply for the decision to be reconsidered under court procedural rules.'
