Ms Cafferkey was taken by paramedics from her home in Halfway, Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire, at about 9.30am. A spokeswoman for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said: “Ms Cafferkey was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital under routine monitoring by the infectious diseases team. “She is undergoing further investigations and her condition remains stable.”Police Scotland confirmed they had assisted with the transport of Ms Cafferkey to hospital this morning.
