Eavesdropper is aware of the protests that rocked some parts of the country few days back. The protests were peaceful as it’s within the right of any Nigerian to protest. Nobody, regardless of how highly placed or powerful, can deny anyone of such right even if the person finds protests personally awkward. It’s thus disturbing that loose talkers who believe that they know more than others or love Nigeria far and above others can diminish the genuine protests. Yes, the protests are genuine and timely because the country is so disorganised right now that many people are struggling to make ends meet.
