The catering sector has warned today that restaurants are “on the edge of a cliff," as they showed their disappointment over the goverment's decision to extend the dine-in ban for one more week. Raymond Chui Man-wai of the Institution of Dining Art, said in a radio broadcast that the industry had heard news of a relaxation of the dine-in ban and had made preperations, but those plans were 'disrupted.' The industry had adopted anti-epidemic measures since March, and they were more stringent than government regulations, Chui said.
