AN abandoned car by the side of a flyover at Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR), Prai, is upsetting motorists. One motorist, who preferred anonymity, said that with the monsoon season, rain might seep into the car, creating a breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes. The motorist also highlighted cars parked on the pavement on the adjacent part of the road, blocking the pedestrian walkway. ACTIONLINE:The Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP) said the abandoned car would be towed away upon clearance from the police. “As for the cars parked on the pavement, we will issue summonses to the car owners and will continue to monitor the area,” said the spokesman.
