The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter airlifted a man to Wairau Hospital in the early hours of Sunday. One person was airlifted by helicopter from the Wither Hills in Blenheim in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter responded to a call at 2.40am on Easter Sunday. A man believed to be in his 30s was transported to the Wairau Hospital. All upper tracks in the Wither Hills Farm Park have been closed to the public since the end of January due to escalated fire risks.
