Eastbound Highway 40 in West Island reopens, after truck hit road signage structure

A stretch of Highway 40 in the West Island is now reopened, after a truck hit and damaged a road signage structure early Friday morning. Concerns about the structure's stability forced the closure of all eastbound lanes between the exits for des Anciens-Combattants and Morgan Boulevards near Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Crews with the Transport Ministry have since removed the damaged structure.
