It has proven an incredible year for owner Geoff Whitehead after winning the 2023 UK Fish And Chip Shop Of The Year title at the National Fish And Chip Awards, in London, in February. The shop is run by Geoff Whitehead and his mum Hazel and it is East Yorkshire’s first Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified fish and chip shop. The family-run Lighthouse Fisheries won Best Newcomer at this year’s National Fish & Chip Awards.
