The local grassroots league will follow FA and government advice on the safe return to play amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic. There have been no matches in the league since before the start of lockdown in March and the 2019/20 campaign was cancelled. Football updateFixture secretary Kevin Bray said: "We would like to start in September, as usual, if we're allowed. Teams can now train in a maximum of six - five players and a trainer - but until the FA or government say grassroots football can start, we've no idea. Premier Division outfit Sedlescombe Rangers have moved to the Mid-Sussex League, while Division One duo Hollington United II and Old Hastonians have withdrawn.
