NEW DELHI: A medium intensity earthquake measuring 3.5 on Richter scale hit Haryana on Monday, with tremors being felt in the national capital and neighbouring areas too.According to the National Centre for Seismology, a unit of Ministry of Earth Science, the epicenter of the quake was in Mahendragarh. The quake occurred at 2:50 PM at a depth of 10 kms.However, there were no immediate report of loss to life or damage to property.Mahendragarh is nearly 120 kms from the national capital.Earlier in the day, a medium intensity earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale hit Kohima, the capital of Nagaland at 10:58 AM.
