A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck off Indonesia's Moluccas Islands on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said. The quake struck in the sea, 147 km (92 miles) northwest of the city of Ternate and at a depth of 76.5 km. There were no immediate tsunami warnings and no immediate reports of damage. A quake-and-tsunami disaster killed more than 2,000 people on Sulawesi last year.
