A light earthquake centred just south of Christchurch has been felt widely in the city. A light earthquake has shaken Christchurch. The 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck at 10.02am on Saturday and was centred 5 kilometres south of the city at a depth of 5km, according to GeoNet. The earthquake was widely felt.
