Electric bug zappers attract mosquitoes and other flying insects using ultraviolet light. That brings up the dark sides of electric bug zappers. Another drawback to electric bug zappers is that they need electricity to operate continuously. Relying solely on bug zappers may provide a false sense of security while neglecting essential preventive measures.
