Police are searching for a driver who shunted a car through a Christchurch fence then fled the scene. A police spokeswoman said a black Subaru Legacy hit a parked Honda Odyssey at about 3:40am on Sunday, pushing it through a fence on Memorial Ave in Ilam. ALDEN WILLIAMS/STUFF A car smashed through this Ilam fence early on Sunday morning. The spokeswoman said a dog unit was called to search, but the driver had not been found.
