Ateneo will have the chance to close out the titular series in Game Two on Wednesday at the Araneta Coliseum. The primary playmaker also drilled 9 points including a triple capper in the Eagles’ closing run. Graduating captain Paul Desiderio, who had 16 points that included the finals-clinching basket for the Maroons, was limited to 5 points before fouling out late in the game. He returned and sank two free throws to push UP within 68-71 with 6:36 remaining in the game.
