London (CNN Business) AstraZeneca is pushing back strongly against criticism from EU officials over delayed deliveries of its Covid-19 vaccine. "We've had also teething issues like this in the UK supply chain. But the UK contract was signed three months before the European vaccine deal. The European Union said earlier this week that AstraZeneca "intends to supply considerably fewer doses in the coming weeks than agreed and announced." But in his interview with la Repubblica, Soriot also outlined crucial differences in the agreements the company has with the United Kingdom and the European Union.
